As the official sponsor of the NFL, Snickers wanted bigger and better digital engagement to get fans excited for the most important event of the American football year: Superbowl 2022.
01. The impossible
Unleash some digital shenanigans to get fans engaged, excited and eating Snickers! “Rookie mistake? Maybe you just need a Snickers.”
Flipside took Snickers’ key creative and ran with it. We designed and developed Rookie Mistakes, a website for fans to tell Snickers all about their remedial slip ups. To gather as much user-generated content as possible, Flipside worked in the ability for users to upload short videos, add photos, and write a short blurb about their “you’ve-been-framed” moment.
