Scope, design and develop a digital platform to help stakeholders and users participate in the FBS programme that seeks to break cycles of domestic abuse.

Deep research into every user and use case for the platform was a massive part of this project. Flipside spent months embedding ourselves in the FBS programme as parents, consultants, and trainee health practitioners, so we could understand exactly how the FBS programme supports parents and children.

Result

Our research helped us meet the challenges presented by this kind of platform: data protection, privacy, and compliance are more important than ever when dealing with vulnerable families. The outcome was a comprehensive desktop platform for practitioners and a valuable app for parents. Features included calendar appointments, event timelines, baby health support, and one-to-one messaging with practitioners.
