Compete is a new concept in social media, fusing TikTok and X Factor, the app lets users participate in video challenge battles to win cash prizes. Brought to life by Flipside.

Build a strong, fast and secure infrastructure for the Compete app, so the idea could evolve into a living, breathing, paradigm-smashing business.

Keeping user experience at the heart of the design and UX, Flipside helped Compete select the best possible tech stack and got to work on the development. Flipside acted as both outsourced CTO and the development team, building an app to deal with millions of user-generated videos. Compete needed lightning-fast response times, a smooth and user-friendly interface, and an iron-clad security system.
